Judges - A3 List


This list is of judges who have consented to have their details published on the website. It may not include all judges on the club's A3 list. Our full judges list is sent to secretaries of UK championship shows. Secretaries of canine societies that schedule breed classes for Belgian Shepherd Dogs of any variety should contact us if a complete list is required.

From 2017 to be placed on the A3 list, the criteria specificed below will apply.

A3 Breed Specialists

  • Minimum of seven years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the Northern Belgian Shepherd Dog Club.
  • To have judged a minimum of 120 Belgian Shepherd Dogs.
  • To have attended a seminar given by a KC Accredited Trainer and passed the relevant examination on KC Regulations and Judging Procedures.
  • To have attended a seminar given by a KC Accredited Trainer on Conformation and Movement.
  • To have attended a Points of the Dog Assessment conducted by a Kennel Club Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment.
  • To have attended at least one Breed Specific Seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practive and passd an examination and/or assessment where applicable.
  • To have bred and/or owned a minimum of three Belgian Shepherd Dogs when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).
  • To have stewarded at 12 shows.

A3 Non-Breed Specialists

  • Minimum of seven years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the Northern Belgian Shepherd Dog Club.
  • To have judged a minimum of 120 Belgian Shepherd Dogs.
  • To have awarded CC's in at least one other breed.
  • To have attended a seminar given by a KC Accredited Trainer on Conformation and Movement.
  • To have attended at least one Breed Specific Seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club Code of Best Practive and passd an examination and/or assessment where applicable.
  • To have bred and/or owned a minimum of three dogs when they obtained their first entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book (save in exceptional circumstances).
